Ian Ramsey is a student of Sports Medicine at MSU Denver and a personal trainer certified through CrossFit, ACE, RKC, FMS, ART and USA Track & Field.   As a husband, father and a Type I diabetic he understands the challenges people face when trying to lead healthy but busy lives.  Hoping to help people with similar challenges Ian teaches functional movement and strength that can be applied outside the gym.  After a twenty year career as a carpenter Ian has returned to school to study Sports Medicine adding injury prevention and rehabilitation to his strength and conditioning background.

Ian is a lifelong athlete with over thirty years of competitive experience in a variety of sports.  At the age of 48 Ian believes he is in the best shape of his life.  CrossFit and kettlebells have helped him achieve a higher level of physical and mental balance than ever before.  In recent years he has won or placed in competitions in track & field, kettlebell sport, indoor rowing, obstacle course racing and short course triathlon as well as participating in ultra-distance cycling events.  Ian is currently ranked in the top 15 nationally in his age group by USA Track & Field in the 400m sprint!
