BodyFit follows the CrossFit training methodology (constantly varied, high intensity workouts) but is designed for new members or those interested in more metabolic-based (i.e. cardio or “bootcamp”) programming. Our BodyFit classes are geared toward people of all fitness levels and will focus primarily on body weight movements. No barbells will be utilized during these classes.

BodyFit is the perfect class for anyone intimidated by traditional CrossFit or looking to supplement your regular WOD schedule. Class format will be the same (dynamic warm up, skill work, WOD) and you are guaranteed to get an amazing workout. This is a great option to coincide with our Intro and/or Olympic Lifting classes!

Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00pm. All BodyFit classes are included in your regular membership.

Typical exercises performed include:

  • running
  • rowing
  • push-ups
  • pull-ups (ring rows)
  • sit-ups
  • kettle bell
  • slam ball
  • wall ball
  • box jumps
  • hollow rockers
  • grasshoppers
  • handstands
  • rope climbs…etc

Sample BodyFit workouts would be:

  • dynamic warm-up (running, high knees, skipping, toy soldiers…etc); tabata couplet of farmer carry and air squats (:20 work/:10 rest, alternating the two movements for 4:00); 21-15-9 kettlebell swings and slam balls
  • dynamic warm-up; shuttle run drills; 30-20-10 of jump rope, push-ups and box jumps
  • dynamic warm-up; hollow rock tabata (:20 work/:10 rest for 4:00); 15:00 AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) of 5 pull-ups, 10 wall ball shots, 15 abmat sit-ups
